Have a lot of excess crap that I would like to nuke off my PC and a bit overwhelmed by all the removal software out there.
Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
Go through the list and uninstall everything you don't want.
Getting another program to do this is unnecessary in my opinion.

One of my favorites is IOBit Uninstaller (http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.html).. it launches the application's default uninstaller and gives you the option afterwards to deep scan for anything related that's left over (saves you from running something like CCleaner afterwards). Good UI too.
If it's a new or relatively new machine with a default install full of crap you can use the PC Decrapifier (http://the-pc-decrapifier.en.softonic.com) software to detect and get rid of stuff. I think Logan did a video on it a while back.
