Best quality Photo Scanner for under $250

Hello all!

I just window shopping for now, but maybe will pull the trigger on a high quality photo scanner down the line. As I am in charge of scanning the family photo albums.

I am open to suggestions and recommendations.

I will be using this with Windows but maybe will also use it with Linux.

I was thinking about the Epson Perfection V37. But don’t know.

Brother or GTFO.

Actually it probably doesnt matter for scanning anything but brother has linux drivers for most of their stuff.
