Best program to rename multiple pictures? [FIXED]

I just got a GoPro and I made a timelapse. For premiere to be able to make it a image sequence it has to be like IMAG001 instead of IMAG001(1). Does anyone know of a program that can do that?
Like this for example?

I have already tried BulkRename Utility and Flash Renamer. Both keeps crashing due to the load. (2100 Pictures)

The GoPro auto increments the file names anyway so you shouldn't need to rename them.

Anyway the GoPro CineForm Studio software (on GoPros website and free) will do a time-lapse and take the files directly from the camera.

DigiKam or Lightroom are both nice for dealing with boat loads of photos

Try looking into ant renamer, useful tool I use to rename things in bulk.

Seconding Lightroom for this job. You'll go into the import window and set it to copy or move in the top bar, at the bottom sort by capture time or file name (whichever keeps things in order.) On the right you should see File Renaming and choose "Shoot Name - Sequence" as it will start with 3 digit numbers (timelapse-001, timelapse-002, etc.) which should help you drop them in order to Premiere. Should auto sort your images by the metadata

I saw that but sadly it only recognized the first 999 pictures so I tried renaming it. That didn't work out at all.
I guess it's just one of those things you asume will work on first try.
I got the renamed I used Irfanview as a friend helped me out.
Thansk anyways :)

I guess ill have a look at them then :)

I used it a long time ago in a really early version. It corrupted my files due to extensive load causing it to crash.
Is the problems fixed now?

So much better than using Irfanview.
Thanks :)

Dunno, I stopped needing a tool to rename multiple files. I used ant renamer about a year ago.
