ok i want a new CPU for my Gigabyte m68mt-s2 motherboard
i like to play games at a constant 60 fps .. and render 1080p i dont mind waiting long hours for a video to render
once you recomend a producy give me a small review of what it could do
well with that motherboard is not a am3+ so a phenomii x4 965 but if you could find like a phenom x6 1090t or somthing that would be good too

I hope you have a kickass GPU though, because that's the most important part for gaming. A CPU upgrade isn't going to make a huge difference for games if you don't have a nice graphics card to back it up.

Yeah, a GTX 550 isn't going to cut it. I would suggest something like a Radeon HD 7870.
