Best practice for upgrading/adding storage?

10cents a Gig is nice. I find it hard not to buy at least 1TB ssd now. Still for storage spinning rust has all a horder needs.

I.m leaning towards M2 and an adaptor , will be worth it IMHO when it’s time to upgrade my CPU/MB
