Best pc for around $500 with shipping

Title says it all. I have come up with a few and here in a couple days I will order the parts.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hl4l APU build

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hlcr 965BE build

Which one is gonna have the best FPS in BF3 and ARMA 2?

I would personally grab the 965 build, but I'd swap the toshiba hdd for a different brand, but thats just opinion

Yeah... Is the toshiba hdd bad? As long as it gets the job done I don't care how slow it is.

I would go with something like this:

The 7770 should play games nicely, have one in my HTPC and I'm pretty impressed with it. You can always upgrade your video card once you get more cash. 500$ budget doesnt leave much to work with.

A 7850+x4 965 will do better in gaming then a FX 6300 +7770

Was kinda wanting something I wouldn't have to upgrade in a while. But I guess I could get a 7770 and for cristmas get another.

Your original build is better. Upgrading your CPU costs less than upgrading your GPU anyway.

Yeah you are right unless you are upgrading to a 6670.

yea for christmas i built a build almost completely the same as the phenom build and it can play most cames on high to very high settings and arma 2 on high at 50 fps

No shit. A 6300 will give him more life and upgrading a couple months down the line to a better GPU will be better than a 7850, by then the 8XXX series cards will be out. The 7770 I listed only costs $100. This is a $500 computer not $1000.

Non of the motherboards listed in this thread support crossfire.

I have friends who have the Phenom X4 955 and they still use it, but it's an old CPU. Invest in something that will last a little bit longer. The Phenom X4 955 is still close to $100 in your part list, the FX-6300 costs only 30$ more. Why would you not try to work that in?

My build has better ram, a faster and more reliable HDD, a better case, and a better motherboard. The MSI 7770 is a great card, it will be perfectly fine for gaming if you are on a budget. I use it every day in my HTPC and I have a buddy who has one in his gaming PC. For $100 it really is an amazing value. And you won't be forced to upgrade it any time soon, I was just saying that eventually you will want to upgrade and when you do the 6300 will be much better.

Looks good http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/536 I am sure it performs even better with the new drivers.

Aslong as when ARMA 3 roles around it doesn't end up looking like how my current pc plays arma 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUXEaZMpBNA

Okay which 7770 is better? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102993 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202011 is the extra 100mhz really worth $20 more?

deff the vapor x id go with that

By how much? Also can anyone reccomend a cheap mobo that will work with the fx 6300 without a bios update?

I layed everything out for you in the build I posted. The motherboard I included is only 77$. Going any lower and you're  going to be sacraficing a lot.

Thanks for the help raguel. I went on newegg and the price was almost $600 because of shipping to hawaii. So would a 7770 vapor x and a g860 be good?
