Best PC build for Gaming/Music editing/AutoCad

Hello tek syndicate, I have been a subscriber of your youtube channel for almost a year now and enjoy all your videos, expecially your PC builds. I have been wanting to build my own custom PC for quite a while now and id like to get it perfect the first time. I am a PC gamer playing LoL, StarCraft 2, Chivalry, Bioshock, and everything in between. I also edit and create songs using FL Studio 11 and Magix Music Maker, as well as using AutoCAD, MasterCAM and AutoDesk Maya. I have come to need a pretty beefy system to handle my needs. I use your videos to keep up with the most recent hardware that hits the market as well as whats best for the price, and I have come to love the Nvidia GTX 690 for its kickass stats although the price is high I am willing,to buy it. I would like to know if you or the community have any suggestions on a build that would last me for atleast 3 years and would cost me from 2000-2500 dollars. It would have to be able to run a lot if not all the plug ins for FL Studio, as well as 3 screen display. As for gaming, if it were able to run Crysis 3 with little to no hiccups, then it would run all the games I will be playing on it seemlessly. I also tend to run AutoCAD and Autodesk Maya at the same time with Autodesk Inventor as well. That is all I can think of at the moment. If the price range is to low I am willing to extend it to 3000. I look forward to any ideas from anyone. Thanks for reading, and as always have a great day.

if i had the budget I would go with this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1wts4

i7 gtx 690 32gb ram (you should be okay with 16gb) top of the line sound card.

Then just put the rest in tow 3 ips monitors. I would recommed this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-h236hlbid

Also assuming you want a GeForce GTX 690 to turn it into a Quadro K5000. this trick seems to only work when running linux. so here is an alternative build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1wtKP

If you're wanting a dual graphics solution like the 690, why not just wait for the gtx 790? More than likely it'll be released around the same time as AMD's Hawaii chips to steal their "Thunder."

If you are willing to buy a GTX 690, I would recommend to buy 2 - 780 gtx instead.
Also the gtx 690 is a dual card so I am not sure if CAD supports it because it ''doesnt'' support Sli.

AutoCAD itself uses the main-processor (and in most cases only one kernel of it). So the complete application is running on one CPU and not on any GPU.

Some options like RENDER or REDRAW can use multithreading options of your main-processor, but not on the graphic-card. Other products like 3D-Studio Max can have renders set to active (e.g. IRAY) that uses GPU's for rendering and then yes, the more GPU the higher the performance the get renderings finished.

Some good SSD(s) RAID 0 and or 2 WD RED in raid 1 for security of your stuff.
If you are going to multitask a lot, rendering, video editing and etc, more ram the better.
I would go with 32 GB 4 x 8GB.
If you are going to make music also, I recommend a good sound card like the  Sound Blaster ZxR.

Cheers!

Wow what a great response. Thank you all for your input, I might just settle with two GTX 780s, as for the new 790 I would most likely have more money saved up by the time it is released so I would be able to have more goodies in the PC. I definitely came to the right place, Thank you all!
