Best Option for HTPC?

Just bought a 4k tv here and have been messing around with my options on media/stream setup.

Ive tried my ps4 (thats been collecting dust) with plex and works great other then the res limitations disadvantage of not being able to stream from steam from it of course.

Tried Plex Windows 10 applications. Works great, Native 4k, however the ui is messed up, extremely small tried adjusting windows ui scaling and nothing helped. Also No longer have CEC or remote support. I love the fact i can control plex from my ps4 using my tv remote.

So here i am asking what really is the best solution for a HTPC That can do these things...

  1. Have Cec support (Control plex via tv remote) - Not required but very useful in my case.
  2. Can stream from STEAM. Via inhome streaming..
  3. Supports 4k, UI AND EVERYTHING.

Ive seen the nvidia shield that supports 4k and Plex however not so sure on how exactly their inhome game streaming works. Just like steam inhome streaming or is it through geforce?

What do you guys use as a game / Media solution on 4k?

I'm not aware of any of the current graphics cards that hdmi CEC support, so I don't think you can that with a HTPC.

Are you using the Plex universal Windows app or the windows desktop app? The universal windows app seems to have pretty good scaling on my 27" 1440p monitor which shouldn't be much bigger than a large screen 4k tv.

I was using the universal app from store. It had horrible scaling
