I was making my new gaming rig and then i that if i want to overclock my cpu i must have a motherboard that can handle it. So thats why i'm asking it to you guys. Also can it be for less then $150, i don't really have the budget for something more expenxive. Thanks for your future answeres.
what cpu are you looking at? do you have a platform you prefer? That matters a lot when looking for the right motherboard.
The platform doesn't matters to me but i prefer asus, msi and asrock for the motherboard and i want a i5 4670k as cpu.
by platform I meant Intel or AMD. Why a 4670K? why not get a 4690K?
Anyway, if you want to OC well with a Z87 motherboard, I would say go for the MSi G45 in that price range.
I would recommend going for a 4690K since the chances of getting a bad overclocker with the 4670K is high.

They're the same price and the 4690k runs a good bit cooler and should overclock better.
Because in my country that cpu cost 20 buks more, and why not a z97 for the next broad well cpu's.
if you want a z97 board then spend the extra 20 bucks and get the 4690K
get a Z97 G45 MSi board with a devils canyon chip and enjoy Overclocking,

the g45 will be better for overclocking. It has better quality capacitors and power delivery

4690K is not compatible with the Msi Z87 G45 gaming, out of the box, just saying.
Better grab the Msi Z97 gaming 5
But don´t expect too much from the whole DevilsCanyon overclock blabla. Till now i did not seen any impressive numbers over haswell 1.0.
