I’ve had less trouble out of the x399a than the zenith extreme personally. Interestingly.
Asus seems behind on agesa updates though.

Onboard fan control is best on Asus boards imo.
Are 10gig internal lan port better than a pcicard extension on 399x as some do have two or three lan ports
doesnt matter if you have the lanes to spare and is prob better on an expansion board to be honest

Thats kinda interesting indeed.
I guess that Asus might hold those updates back slightly longer,
for more testing.
But i´m not too sure about that though.

That’s probably true. Agesa updates have not remotely been bug free

You can’t use ddr5 with threadripper, or any current platform for that matter. Not to mention its not even been released.
I use the asrock x399 taichi, works well.
Is amazon motherboard good as i keep seeing this problems comments from people on there?
First board gave me a AD error, called Asus and did some troubleshooting, they wanted me to RMA the board. I got a replacement from Amazon and same issue. RAM LED was lit on the board and i tried replacing the memory… still had the problem, both packs of ram were on the approved list.
Whats AD in the manual?
not sure that comments from there with those bad ones almost 4 stars from 5 not sure how many of them are even good reviews?
Well all i can say is dont stare blind on reviews on sites like amazon etc.
Because often users complain about issues that are caused by human error.
