I need a device that is able to stream videos and mp3s from my pc to a device over wifi. Something similar to what the xbox or ps3 can do. I would like the price to be under $50 too.
raspberry pi it is amazing with openelec
The Raspberry Pi wouldn't work because it doesn't have built in wifi.... So I would have to get a usb wifi stick and might as well get something more expensive.
well there is that chromestick thing from google
I heard the chromestick isn't DLNA compatible so I can't stream from like local network.
