I am interested in buying a laptop for gaming but I don't want it to break my wallet.
What are the best gaming laptop (or just laptops that are good for gaming, not necessarily meant for it) for:
$300 or less:
$500 or less:
$1000 or less:
Thanks

Herro?
you will not be able to play anything but casual games for 300 bucks or less. for 500 or less then honestly the best laptop for gaming will be the one with the beefiest graphics card. i just cannot recommend any laptop to play games on considering you can build a pc for the same price or less and get double the performance. it just doesn't make sense. unless of course you already have a desktop to play games on. if it was my money the i personally would just upgrade my desktop. the only advice i can give you is look for something with a good graphics card because the cpu does not make much difference. i will link a laptop on newegg for you that personally i would buy if i wanted a laptop to game on. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834310660 but let me reiterate. please, please please, PLEASE, do not buy a laptop expecting to game on it well. or for any reasonable price if you do want to game reasonably well.
@TimeShare,
Times are tough but, there are other options like "pay later" with PayPal which
makes it easier to make purchases. I highly recommend you try applying for
some credit and choose a good laptop based that credit.
I would prefer something with the minimum of 6GB of ram.
Next important hardware will be the gpu as the cpu is generic consumer cpus these days.
Good Luck.
Thanks for the advice, and I do have a new desktop i just built. I was thinking about buying a laptop for portable use and gaming.
Toshiba Qosmio x870, my friend has one it's beast. Dunno what price range that falls under for where you are. Just putting it out there because I've never used any other laptop that can actually game, so it's the only one I can vouch for. And it's 3D 17" comes with Glasses.
HP Dv6-7 with an A10 or A8 will be decent, could do any valve game maxed, Day-Z mid settings, etc. Watch out though because they tend to have problems with the cooler after so long.
