I have just finished building a PC for gaming, now all that is left is my option for internet. My modem from Comcast is give or take 10m away from where my gaming desktop will be with 2 thin walls obstructing its path. Now this is too far for Ethernet as the wire would have to go across multiple rooms in my house and it would just look like a mess having a wire across the house when i have friends over. I was thinking about going with a PCI-express WiFi adapter because my Motherboard has an extra PCI-express slot that I'm not using. My other option would be Powerline, but i heard iffy things about this and my house is 20+ years old so i don't know how the wiring has held up to be able to effectively utilize Powerline. Also, its not like my Modem is that far away to where Powerline is my only option. Which one do you guys think will fit my needs better, WiFi or Powerline?
(Btw my budget is $70 and I'm in the U.S.)
