I am planning on building a high-end PC. This project will be a year minimum and a big learning experience. Trying to start with products that don't outdate.
The case I want needs to support many options for watercooling.
Aluminum is nice but not required if it is tooo expensive.
Full-Tower ATX.
Price range=$200-$300 Lower is always better though.
Also, I want it do be modular(take it apart easily) if possible.
Any recomendations would be nice, just trying to start planning for my next long-term build.
I have a TJ11 is waaaay above your price range but an unbeleviablly good case. Cosmos 2 is good (like really good but plasticy), I would look at Caselabs/Silverstone/LianLi for aluminum body cases.
I'm personally really thinking about ditching my HAF X and putting all my parts in the 900D when it comes out, especially because I'm going to be water cooling it eventually, and I really don't want to mod my HAF X to fit a second radiator if I don't have to.
it will cost you a bit more than your budget suggests, but i promise you will mostly likely never have to buy a case again. also take a look at there range if not for the lol's
i live in the uk and i plan on gettin one of there cases shipped over to me someday
I personally would get something a little less popular, but I like having a case not many others have. I would get a caselabs/LD or Mountain Mod case for straight watercooling, I love those little companys. Whenever someone wants a build like that, I always push those cases. Somebodys gotta keep them in buisness.
I agree 100% if you want the ultimate case this is it!! I own one and I am blown away with its design and construction. Logan did a Video on my 2011 CaseLabs build and here is a Video of my system in the Build stage.
Ok guys, Even if I did have enough money for a caselabs I don't think I would get one. They are way to big, and to me seem to stanard. It's like they just took everything in the industry and threw it in one case. I don't need all those radiator options, and definently not the waste of space. Also, how am I going to move it if I ever wanted to? As of now, I still like the Switch 810 for MY needs.
