Best Graphics card for $150

So basically I just want your opinions on what is the best graphics card I can get for $150, I tend to like Nvidia cards over AMD, but am mostly just looking for the best performance for the price. My system specs are A10-5800k (I don't want posts saying I should change this, my build started off as a budget gaming pc, and I'm trying to keep it that way), and 8 gb ddr3@1600 MHz. I want to run games at 1080p. Also, my motherboard doesn't support  Crossfire or SLI, so I'm looking for the best single card for the price.

650 Ti for nvidia or a 7770 from AMD. I believe the 650 Ti is better in this range (it is about 20 dollars more but still less then 150)

If I were to get the 650 ti, would it be able to handle battlefield 3 on ultra at 1080p? AA isn't a big deal to me at high resolution so minus that.

Instead of telling you, I will show you.

That's very good performance, I'm surpirsed. Although the article doesn't say what the other specs are, so it might be an i7, which is much better than my cpu.

It wont matter much. This is also using old drivers, so the card is probably faster now anyways.

My motherboard only supports pci-e 2.0, will it affect the performance much since it is 3.0?

Not really. They never maxed the 2.0, so moving to 3.0 wasnt entirely neccessary

Alright, thanks for the help, I'm considering the 650 ti now.

The radeon 7850 1gb is $170 on newegg and eats the 650ti for breakfast. It can run battlefield 3 max at 40-50 fps but runs it at 60 fps with some settings lowered. It is what I'm savnig up for too.

get a 6870, it will run bf3 max, under $150, beats the 7770 and the 650 ti by quite a margin as well.

The 7770 for sure the 650 ti is using old architecture and the 7770 has better bench mark scores at launch and since the new amd drivers add huge increases i can only presume the gap has grown.
