Try either a GT 240 or Radeon HD 5670. That might help ya

I would save up another 25 bucks and get a 5770 personally

My gt 240 is pretty good, then again none of my monitors can display a res higher than 1024x768, besides resolution it plays everything I throw at it at max settings, I was lucky and got the $40 rebate, mine only cost $45 with shipping the rebate is only 10-20 now.

For just a tiny bit more you can get a REAL card:

second a 5770

Yep, 5770 is a nice one, or 5750.

The gtx260 is also good, but kinda outdated

I must have been half asleep... I thought I was posting a link to a 460... er... it's a bit more...

Don't get the 260, lol.

MSI R5670-PD512 Radeon HD 5670 / 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 / 775MHz Core / 1010MHz Effective - $79.99 ($69.99 w/ MIB)

HIS IceQ H567Q1GD Radeon HD 5670 / 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 / 775MHz Core / 1000MHz Effective - $94.99 ($74.99 w/ MIB)

There's little difference between the 512MB and 1GB versions of the 5670. No difference at all in games judging by reviews I've seen. However, the HIS IceQ above will offer superior cooling, and possible headroom to overclock if that's your thing.

One more suggestion for just $15 more...

HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) / 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 / 850 MHz Core / 1200 MHz Effective - $129.99 ($99.99 w/ MIB)

Judging by reviews, the 5770 is a MASSIVE improvement over the 5670, well worth the extra $15. Your choice though.

Logan has still got the GTX 260 embedded in his brain after doing a million reviews of it at tiger.

Yeah, GTX 460 is the card to get :)

i have this one in one of my machines http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-100287VGAL/dp/B0033WSDNI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1302382922&sr=1-1

runs pretty good a 1024x768 XD
