Best Gaming PC for about 1300 GO!

Hi guys !

So in the begging of the next month i will have about 1300€ and im going for it hell yeah ! my new gaming 1st ever pc built !

1- I intend to overclock as much as i can

2- Custom Watercolling maybe one day

3 - And i hope that this system last me a good 2 or 3 years without upgrading much.

I already have the peripherals and the OS

AND GO !

Side note, put the Top 140mm on the side.

And you should be able to overclock very well with this. (4.6/4.8Ghz and if you are lucky like I hope i'll be, 5.0Ghz)

Okay, as far as expansion, Do

Wire-less

GPU

LAN

GPU

Make the Radiator Pull on the top.

Thats about it, Any questions, ask, I am going to basically be building this in a few weeks to come.

Looked up your laptop . . . Dang, this will be a MAJOR upgrade, black and white, lol, your laptop (from what i had seen in reviews) boots in 87 seconds, this will in like 4 to 6 seconds. And with TWO GTX760 FTW cards, You will be able to play anything on ultra, no problem.

hmm i prefer a single powerful gpu ... and the case could be better ? please ... wow and i forgot to tell you that i dont need an OS i already got windows 8 64bits

Your hardrive choice is poor. Get a 2tb caviar black.

The only reason for going Intel is pci express 3.0. I think it will be more future proof.

Do you already have all the peripherals?

A couple of choices here need a bit of explaining.

CPU Cooler: I didn't go with a AIO liquid cooling solution for the CPU because you mentioned upgrading to custom liquid cooling. However, it would still be within your budget to add an AIO liquid cooling system for your CPU (like a Corsair H100i) if you chose to do so.

Motherboard: A custom liquid cooling system would work very well with this board in particular as it has on board adapters for such a system. Also, this is a great board for overclocking (loads of unique features for just that). Storage ever be a problem with this board as you get 10 Sata 3 6Gb/s ports.

SSD: Same SSD that I have in my system. Fast, reliable, and cheap. Makes for a great boot drive.

GPU: A single GTX 770 may seem a bit weak but you could add another for about the same total cost as a single GTX 780ti.

Wireless Adapter: Take it or leave it. I wasn't sure whether or not you actually needed one so I just threw it in there.

Case: A great case overall that will last a good long while as well as providing excellent custom liquid cooling support.

PSU: A bit overkill for a single GPU setup but provides enough headroom to add a second GPU in the future as well as offering excellent efficiency.

Final Note: Take or leave any of my advice, these are all just suggestions that correspond with what I'd do with the budget you have and your concern for the future.

Yes i have sir :)

I kind of took Sir Prize's and ran with it re-adding aspects from mine as well as refining it over all, In Dollars your budget is basically 1800$, but i went slighly over-board and is 150$ over that, but you will not be disappointed.

Motherboard: Is still very capable at overclocking, especially the Revision 4.0.

CPU Cooler: It is a closed Water loop that is Actually really good at over clocking.

Wire-less: like he said, but i personally will be moving my rig to LAN parties so i will be putting a LAN Ethernet and a Wire-less.

Case: I Decided to keep his case because there was no real particular reason I had mine besides the fact that I own it, it is good, it gets the the job done and it's cheap.

PSU: For the price, I thought his choice was Perfect.

SSD (yes, out of order :P) : This SSD is MADE by Samsung, has a Good coltroller and Has a boost Of up to Gigabyte R/W speeds, It is a solid SSD.

CPU: this CPU can be very overclocked, has 8 cores over The i5's 4 core. And here is a vid by Logan:

(It is better for multithreading and multi tasking, so over all more productivity)

Over all, I think that combining Sir Prize's Build and Mine was good, I think you should go with this one.

Well, From EVERYTHING I have heard/Seen, as far as performance, 3.0 does nothing for performance.

Unless you can link me to proof or defend this, 3.0 is useless compared to 2.0

I honestly didn't spend more than 5 seconds deciding that hard drive, it doesn't really matter, He should just get what he wants as far as the hard drive.

Only real issue I have here has to do with the motherboard. OP said he wanted to OC and have something that would last a good long while. While I don't have a problem with the board manufacturer you chose, the board itself has a couple less SATA 6Gb/s ports, gen. 2 PCI as opposed to gen. 3, and is a bit less of an overclocking oriented board.

I seriously dig the SSD though. I've wanted a Samsung drive for quite some time.

I have read on allot of forums that that board is actually really solid for the price and can get a stable clock from the 8350 at 5.0 easily.

Wow, I take back what I said about the OCing capabilities then. That's pretty impressive.

Yeah (I have the RAM, storage, OS and case already) But this is what i'm building in a few weeks hopefully.

He doesn't need an OS and you are 300£ under budget.

Is that bad to be under budget... sound complete opposite to what i think with my money.

If he wants to get the best possible rig for the budget it could be. Just something to keep in mind.
