I have an amd 7850k and i have decided to downsize from micro atx to mini because of the new corsair 380t that's coming out. Some of the only things i want/need is it to be good at overclocking and have great built-in wireless. Any help is appreciated.
im pretty happy with my
FM2A88X-ITX+
That's the ASRock one, correct?
yes, sorry i failed to mention that.
Thanks, i think that is going to be the one that i get, how good is the audio. Where did you get it from?
bought it off newegg, during a mobo promotion. the audio, seems fine to me, i use it as my HTPC so i get audio from HDMI port
Okay, hopefully they have a combo deal with the 380t.
I'd have to agree with Anarekist about the ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+. It's by far one of the best AM2+ motherboards out there in terms of power delivery. I do wish that Asus would produce a board with their own Digi+ VRM daughterboard, but it seems that they don't think the demand is there yet, and they might be right in that assertion. As far as the Audio goes, it has less isolation than, say, an Asus ROG Impact board does, but it is still equivalent or better than any other m-ITX FM2+ motherboard, so it's not bad. It'll push 600 Ohm headphones, but I'm not sure what the sound quality will be like. The only other problems that I have with that board is the lackluster choice of wireless connectivity and the lack of VRM heatsinks. Given that it should otherwise have the best overclocking capacity out of that form factor in that socket, the lack of a method of dispersing the inevitable heat production of the VRMs may inhibit significant overclocking endeavors. This is a problem that, unlike the wireless card, cannot simply be remedied by the purchase of a different component.

it doesnt come with bluetooth no, but mine did come with a wireless lan card connected to the m2 sata port.
as for no heatsinks on the VRM i was worried about this too. but a post from zoltan in another thead convinced me i need not worry. the vrms dont require it, they get hot, that's what they are suppose to do, it is all within spec, meaning they were designed from the get go to operate at these heatsinkless temps. i dont over cock either since it's an HTPC, i will not notice any performance increase when im playing fez or watching netflix.
go with the Asrock A88x ITX+ FM2+ It has two hdmi ports. A in and an out (in is for pass through for a dvr or something else that takes up an hdmi port)

Thanks for all of you help!
