Hey guys,
I've got an i7 3770k with 32gb of high profile Vengeance ram in a Corsair C70 case. I'm looking for a solid high performing cooler, but sadly I don't think I can go air because the case with the ram doesn't offer enough clearance.
If someone knows for a fact that the larger Phanteks/Noctua coolers will fit in my C70 case with the high profile vengeance ram, I'd like to go with those.
Otherwise, I'm looking at a closed loop water cooling system. What I want to know is what's the best out of the box cooler I can get for about $100?
I'm not looking at pulling off any crazy overclocks, and I'm not looking for dead silence, but I'd like to be able to keep my system cool without having to push the fans too much.

The maximum CPU cooler height in the case is 170mm, so your issue is only the ram...
So you have no problem what so ever... Noctua NH-U14S...
You can go even cheaper with Xigmatek Dark Knight II...
Just type any of them in Google and take a look at the pictures... No ram slots covered.
I currently have a Enermax ETS-T40 cooler, and though it does it's job well, I am looking for something better. That's why I'm looking at some of the larger dual air coolers and water coolers.
This is what my issue is with the ram, all of the larger dual air coolers hang over the first two dimm slots, and I have 32gb of high profile ram. So that leaves me looking at closed loop coolers, I just don't know which one would be my best choice.
