i dont get it whats the difference and is one better than the other?

Obviously the cooler on it. Do you have glasses?

lol oh. well what ones better?? im guessing the one with the black one.

i read on some other forums that sapphire's quality in parts is pretty shoddy. i'd just get one of HIS' 4870 cards. i actually found out they sent me the wrong one, but mine is the more better looking card, (the blue pcb with my blue gigabyte mobo) yet the specs are the same.

the one i purchased was supposed to be the all red HIS 4870 512mb. it's like $179 or $169. get it, you won't be disappointed in the slightest bit.

if you like nvidia more, try looking for the first gen gtx260 for around the same price. they are the two cards that have the best performance for under $200. i only went with my 4870 because i'm able to add another one in the future.

HIS Radeon HD 4870^^

sorry about how many links there are haha but i dont know what one to choose! :'O

Getting the 9800 gtx is as same as getting a 4850.

GET THE 4870!!!

the one i mentioned is the best performance per dollar ratio. the 1gb 9800gtx+ narrows the gap of performance distance with the 4870, but you're still paying around $30 for less performance. (unless i'm wrong about the 1gb 9800gtx+ being marginally worse than the original 4870, which i highly DOUBT i am.)

get the HIS 4870- the one in the bottom link.

or even the one above it, just check other forums to make sure its good.

the 4870 is the best you can do for 180.

You can find a good brand 4870 at newegg for $190. Quite an impressive card for the price. The 4850X2 is also a good choice but I'm queasy when it comes to the full reliability of SLI/Crossfire.
