Hey guys! I wish to know which card between $200 and $300 will be best for 1080p gaming. I need High settings. Not Ultra high. Please use www.newegg.ca for the links. I am only going gaming and will mostly be playing Battlefield 3 and 4.
Thanks :D

Battlefield is optimised for Nvidia cards. I would recommend the 760. I don't think you can find a sub-$300 GTX770 in Canada?
760 comes with Last Light, I believe.
For the ATI flavour, the 7950 is a great card. Probably the best performance you will get across many game titles.
7950 comes with the Never Settle games bundle. Which is Crysis 3, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Bioshock Inifinite, and possibly the latest Tomb Raider
How about Battlefield 4? I heard it was optimized for AMD. And the bundles are all over. So It will all come down to which one is cheaper?
it was already announced that Battlefield 4 will be optimised for AMD cpu's and video cards.
News to me. But, it makes me happy, because I think the 7950 is the better buy, and with that games bundle.
More reason to go with the 7950, I should think.
The games bundle is sadly over :( But it does not really matter cause I already have them :P
Anyways, I think I will go with this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414
Look good?
I'm sad that the games bundle is over, and I don't have those games, and I have a 780. It has the performance I need, but I am so incredibly empty. I wish I had an excuse to buy a 7950 with that by-gone games bundle.
The never settle reloaded bundle has ended on newegg and I think amazon also. Tiger direct might still have some.
I think it could depend on the vendor. It is still available here in the UK.
And I am glad you could back it up with sources, Cooperman
So is the Gigabyte version of the 7950 good?

Game coupon is still there. It looks like you have to buy two GPUs.
I prefer the MSI Twin Frozr, or the HIS Iceq x2 turbo (the dual fan HIS). The Gigabyte is voltage locked.
It has expired at newegg US and Canada. Well it hasnt expired but supplies have ran out. The actual experation date is december but for places that sell a lot of cards it wont last until then.
It's part of the three item combo. It's only a select few users that would actually have the need to purchase dual cards, though.
Ah I just saw your link.
I am not planning to overclock, so it does not really matter to me. And both of the cards you mentioned are above my $300 mark. I could either go with this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127745 or this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413
Which one? I know I chose a 760, will it be worth it?
One's a 7970. If you're not overclocking, it makes little difference. Get one with a good cooler and good warranty. Maybe a good aesthetic, if that's important to you.
Sorry about that. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414
So 760 or 7950 out of these choices?
