I'm currently in the process of building a budget system and was wondering what is the best GPU right now that ranges from $150 to $200. I've seen the R9 270 from amd and the GTX 650 ti boost from Nvidia which are in this price range. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks!
R9 isnt bad. also you should look into a gtx 660 as they are in the same price range.
I was thinking R9 because it is the latest gen, but even then would the 660 perform just as well? The R9 is running a 256 bit bus while the 660 runs 192 bit. Would this have significant impact?

at that price you have 7870/270/270x which are all the exact same card only difference is stock clock speeds, and a 660 will generally perform almost exactly the same, but there are some other cards that may or may not dip into that price range 7870xt<760<7950
