I am getting a Cannondale Caad8 road bike for my first road bike next paycheck and I am wondering what is the best portable speaker out there for bass and overall loudness. I have been looking at a jbl charge because my friend has one and it sounds pretty loud and you can hear it a block or two away, but I haven't really heard anything else to compare it to.
So here are my REQUIREMENTS
** Must be able to fit inside a water bottle holder **
** Must be good **
** Must be under $250 **
Note If it can't fit into a bottle holder on a bike and it just blows every other speaker away in terms and of loudness and bass then give a mention and I will consider getting a rear tire carrier rack to strap it on to. Though I really don't want to do that but if the speaker is just that much better than I probably will.
My first recommendation:http://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/boom
Second:http://www.ultimateears.com/en-ca/mini-boom
So, I own the EU boom mini, and for the $100 I paid for it, IT IS INCREDIBLE. The little thing has much more bass than I could of expected from its size, it gets really loud, and the sound is so crisp. I love it. Worth every penny.
I've heard a lot of great things from the EU Boom. Its basically the big brother of the EU boom mini (the one I have) so I'd expect it to be much better in basically every way. The one downside of the EU Boom Is the size. Its larger than most Bluetooth speakers but may be the perfect size that you need.
Search up YouTube videos of both of them, you'll be able to find better reviews for both speakers there.
I have one more thing to say.
Don't get the Beats Pill unless you want to be extremely disappointed and/or robbed.
