Best AUR helper for Arch Linux

I've just started installing more AUR packages than before and I find the updates to be quite a time consuming process. So I've decided to get and AUR helper but I find the number of them to be quite overwhleming. All I need is an AUR helper that only accesses the AUR and not the normal repositories. Any recommendations?

I use Yaourt.. honestly I don't see an immediate reason to use anything else.

I've heard good things about pacaur though I have never used it.

Well I always hear a lot of people saying that aur helpers that are also pacman wrappers fuck up installing packages pretty easily. Do you use yaourt for the aur only or also for the normal repositories?

Both, I prefer it actually. When you do a full update with Yaourt you can see the latest notes on each package so alot of times people will put issues in the notes and what conflicts arise with each package. Makes it alot easier to not brick your build and have to revert packages manually.

You can easily add repositories to the Yaourt's text file for your custom packages

Also yaourt uses AUR4 exclusively so that's a plus
