Best AMD AM3+ Motherboard For £80 (Amazon Only)

Hi Guys,

As the title suggests, I am looking for the best AMD am3+ socket motherboard for £80 or under. It can only be bought on Amazon because I am getting the majority of the money from £250 worth of amazon vouchers.

I was thinking of going with this one from asrock: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0058HUQJ0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

But some of the reviews have worried me and left me wandering if when I recieve the motherboard the BIOS will be loaded with sufficient drivers to allow me to use the AMD FX-6300 CPU I am getting.

Also, just a little bit of background info, I already have the graphics card (MSI Twin Frozr 3 HD7850) and I will be stealing the hard drive and PSU from my current build (although if I do have enough money left over I will be going with an 80+ psu because I don't trust my current piece of crap)

So far I have around £350 to spend but I might get a bit more. Here is my current parts list if you are wandering (BTW, the case is non negotiable. It is just too gorgeous and I can use it on other builds.):

Thanks for the help guys,

This motherboard is realy a good one, i have this board my self, has cool feutures, and a 6+2 power phase design, so there is enough room for overclocking.

Further it is a  R2.0 board that means that it supports  Philedriver uit of box.

probably the best 970 motherboard to buy for 86 pounds.

Grtz Angel ☺

Thanks a lot, this looks like the perfect motherboard :)

youre welcome, the evo is practicaly the same as the Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 the only difrence is,the chipset and the pci-e slots.  the evo has only one pci-e running at X16 and one running at x4 so not realy the best thing for  crossfire  but if you gonne run a single GPU setup, who cares ☺

The Asrock 970 extreme4 probably needs a bios update first to support the philedriver, and it has only a 4+1 power phase and not the best quality components, soo better go for  the Asus evo.
