Hey guys! I'm in the process of picking parts for my computer and I've decided to go with the AMD Radeon 7950 for my GPU. Any recommendations on which is the best one to buy? My budget for graphics is around $250 but I could stretch a little bit about $20 more at the most. Thanks in advance
The His IceQ X2 Turbo is the best performing 7950. That's the dual fan, not the single fan cooler.
I think some comparatively good 7950s can be found much cheaper, however. The MSI Twin Frozr can be found really cheap right now. It is a good card, but there seems to be a ton of bad reviews of late.
Which one has the best customer support?
Probably Asus for AMD cards, EVGA for nVidia.
I can also second the HIS IceQ X2 7950, i made a blog post about how well I got mine to overclock. The 6 PWM IC controllers do wonders for overclocking!
yes it does. Its the best 7950 hands down cus the power design is much better than the others. and quality components offers stable overclocking
is that a digital pwm?
"The card is equipped with improved power design which is great for OC! HIS cards utilize Dynamic Phase Control PWM IC to save power for better use. Along with improved power design, digital power design, 2 ounces Copper Layer, HIS cards make the best out of power, carrying better OC capability and pushing clock speeds to the full potential!"
marketing mombo jumbo..but real and good stuff.
