Best $400.00 (or less) Monitor for Gaming

So I just finished my rig, and now I am looking for a monitor to go with it.  My price range is right around $400.00

I definitely want it to be 25-27" and 120hz would be a nice to have, but not necessary if the colors are vibrant and the screen is 27".  Any ideas?

What kind of games do you play?

Thanks for the responses!  I play FPS and RPGs mostly (no MMO), I also really enjoy RTS.

Get TallGeese's first recommendation, the BenQ XL2420T.  I've been using it for almost a year now and it's the greatest monitor I've ever seen.  The 120Hz is phenomenal, especially in FPS games!  Aiming is so much smoother and I find myself hitting targets a lot easier than when I was stuck on a 60Hz.

I downgraded in size from a 27" 60Hz to this 24" 120Hz.  Believe me, you won't miss the size one bit.  Once you see how smooth things are on the BenQ, it'll seem superior to any 27" you could get with only 60Hz.
