Best 40"+ 4K screen under $700?

Title says most of it. Looking for the best 40"+ Korean 4K screen for a new build. Primary use is gaming. (NO graphical editing applications here). Thanks for any advice!

I am pouring through the Youtube channel now checking out various reviews but any additional help would be great.

Hi ! I cannot speak for the present units, but the AMH A399U and A409Uv 1.0 were quite good units ! and many comments prove the fact !

I have the AMH 409u and love it. No issues and I use it for many hours a day.

Gaming has been fine with it, I even play CS:GO and it's fine. If you're a competitive minded person with games like CS:GO, higher than 60 hz refresh rate is nice, but if 60 is fine for you than it's a great monitor.

If I remember correctly, when I bought it from eBay it arrived within 5 days, which is amazing since it's sent from Korea of course. I live in the USA.

Thanks for the replies! 60hz is just fine for me. I have been looking at the 409u......might be the one I go with.

I have both the A399U and the A409U They are pretty awesome.

A409U v2 has a far more terrible panel with fuzzy reds. Totally different UI, more TV like.

A409U v1 panels were good but the new ones should be avoided like the plague.

they are that bad ! I had heard pf a few units being received in pitiful shape; like DeusQuain I have 1 A399U and 2 A409U v1.0 and love them both; all ATI Powered!

BUMMER. So...any way to tell V1 VS V2 panels before purchase or is that totally up to the seller to disclose?

yes ! the inputs are not the same ! 3 hdmi 2.0 and it is a version 2 !

can you send the v2 back, and get a v 1 ?

Not sure if you are asking if I can return...., I have yet to buy a screen. Still doing the research. Wish I could find a UHD420 under $650 but, that aint gon happen.

sorry for the ......However it seems you should make sure it is a V 1; unfortunately I am not aware of how many runs they made. The V1 I have are performing great. A few that received recently the v2, do not seem to be quite as happy !
As a foot note . make sure 42 is what you need . I find quite a lot of head movement for a viewing of about 33 inches. In all my tests, 40 was BY FAR the sweet spot ! (IMO)
