I build my computer about a year and a half ago and at that time I was just getting really into computers and decided to build my own. And I did pretty good besides I don't like the card I got. Its a EVGA GTX 560se. Im looking to get a new card to replave it between 150$-250$
Ideas?
If you're gaming at 1080p, the 760 should cost that amount, and happens to be really suitable. You might pick up a good 7950 on sale. An overclocked 7950 is comparable to an overclocked GTX770.
If you're gaming on a resolution below 1080p, you can afford to spend a lot less.
I am on 1080p, and I really want to play all my games on very good if not the best settings without completly draining all my cash
Well, you're in the correct price bracket. You should be able to play most games on ultra with the suggested cards. Do you have any games that you wish to play, or play currently?
I play pretty much so everything... But a few are Battlefeild 3, Call of Duty MW2 (I dont like COD that much, but when playing through the campaign I had to keep lowering settings which makes me sad), skyrim, Leauge of Legends and a billion others
Well Battlefield 3 is optimised for Nvidia. However, the upcoming Battlefield 4 (like many other games) will be optimised for AMD. I am going to make a third suggestion, the 7870XT.
The 7870XT is unlike any other 7870; because it runs on the Tahiti architecture as the 7950 and 7970. It's essentially a "7930".
It should be cheaper than anything forementioned, and will give suitable performance.
