These are simply some of the best for gaming under $200 : http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/567089b73c33056f/
They have a HUGE soundstage, making positional sound that much better. Really comfortable, low ohms so you could power them with a potato and have been really durable over the past year of use. Great for gaming/music.
Check out head-fi and amazon reviews, you'll be hard pressed to find a negative review on these. Be warned they lack booming bass (which imo isn't a bad thing) but with some minor EQ tuning you can get some extra bass without sacrificing the audio quality too much.
I'd recommend shopping around for the best price, I found a used pair on ebay for 50 bucks, replaced the padding for 15 and voila, saved 80+ dollars. If you need a mic, grab a simple desktop one and enjoy amazing audio for games and music and still be able to use voice comms without buying some razer or overhyped piece of trash that sounds like shit but glows bright colors!
I use Sony MDR-7506, JBL J88, & Razer Kraken Pros
The Mionix Nash 20 are pretty awesome, they are the best all round headset that I have ever had.
They are $129 with free shipping.

I own a pair of Beyerdynamics DT990s and are awesome for gaming and music. Nice soundstage with nice deep bass. Do you REALLY need a mic? (please don't buy razer headphones/headsets.)
I just got a pair of HyperX Clouds (Qpad QH-90/Takstar Pro 80) last night to use for gaming instead of my Philips Fidelio L1's, and from the 3 or so hours of Titanfall I played last night I can say that they are extremely nice and sound fantastic. I also think they look better in person than in pictures, and am half considering selling my Fidelio L1's because I game a lot more than just listen to music and the Clouds are more comfortable.
