I let the tri-tip tendon marinade in salt, pepper, soy sauce, ginger, and cooking wine for 4 days.
I placed my short ribs in a pan of cooking wine, salt, pepper, soy sauce and olive oil before airfrying it or a sear. I saw searing suggested per instructions from a cooking website. I preheated the air fryer for 400° for 5 minutes, then cooked the short rib at 400° for 8 minutes flipping it at 4 minutes
Then I filled half of my wok with cold water and placed my tri-tip marinade into the wok on high heat. I waited until the blood reached the surface of the soup in which I’d use the soup ladle to scoop it out.
Once I scooped out enough blood, I threw in my short ribs, and filled the wok with more water. I noticed the broth was bubbling, so I added olive oil to reduce the bubbling.
While the 2 ribs cooked, I cut some ginger and tomatoes. As I finished the ginger, I threw it into the wok and started cutting my tomatoes into 4ths. Once the tomatoes were ready, I threw spinich, carrots, and tomatoes into the wok and let the soup cook at high heat until the tomatoes withered, at which I set it to simmer
