Out of the console game, I wnat to build a PC which can beat beat the PS4. It doesnt have to cost the same or less than the PS4, but I want it to be as cheap as possible beating out the PS4. Screen, mouse and keyboard doesnt need to be included, as you dont get that with the PS4 either

Price: 600 tops, but cheaper is better

These are all above 600. I need something cheaper. I set 600 as a max limit, but i want something that is more like 500-550

Well no, but when I click on your link, the base total is $711, and the total is $677

As far that I know the PS4's gpu is close to a 680 gtx.

beating the ps4 .. should i factor in the operating system or not? alot of people ignore that windows costs 100$

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/goshujinsama01/saved/2lf0 this is a bit less in the CPU but with a bit of overclocking it will match the 6800k and phenom 2 is a great overclocking cpu the estimated wattage was only 425 so i got the 500 watt cpu if you want a lower end gpu say a 7870 ghz you can shave the cost down to 600 like you wanted and i also added in windows 7 which is going to cost you 100$ so you wont go over your budget

PS4 is next gen, and so are AMD's 9000 series GPU's. Both will be out a few weeks at most from each other. Performance per dollar of the PC will go up when those chips roll out so don't forget to include that in your mock console killers. 9870 will probably be very close to a 7950 etc etc

THANK YOU FOR THIS POST. Seriously, everywhere i go, people always ignore that 100$ price point for the OS, and its a huge necessity in any build. Hats off to you good sir.
