Battlefield 4 with controller

Hey guys I've been spending a lot of time lately making my PC work like a Steam Box, and I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to start a battlefield game with the controller.  I've heard of Xpadder and I use it for somethings but battlefield 4 has native controller support so it cant run at the same time as Xpadder.

Any help would be appreciated.

i think it should automatically support it cause i believe the beta was a capable of doing it., check the controller settings.

Sorry if I didn't word my question very well but it does support controllers but I want to be able to use a controller to start a game and you can't navigate battlelog with a controller.

i too have been recently playing bf4 on pc and I find it strange that i have to reach for the mouse for certain dialougue prompts... i must be missing something as this seems stupid in the extreme.

Was never sure why these games required a web browser in the first place.

They do it to earn extra revenue. If everyone is required to log into a website in order to play a game, it ensures clicks on the website. More traffic = more moolah.

While I prefer an in-game solution, I have to admit, requiring a game to launch via a website is a clever marketing tactic.

would the program called "Joymouse" help/work? Maybe you can turn on voice recognition instead?? (I don't know if this is an option) No need to get up from the sofa.

EDIT: I did try my suggestion (Joymouse) and it works in as much as you can use the joypad to start but on exit Joymouse seems to stop, Also using a pad in BF4 is just awful.
