Battlefield 4 PC

A friend of mine wants me to help him build an inexpensive PC for gaming and really wants to play BF4 on the PC. He's looking for something as far under $500 as possible. I came up with a list, but I'm not sure if this will be enough to play the game. I've found benchmarks for the video card, but not the combination of CPU and GPU. I'm not figuring it's going to run on Ultra settings on a 4K monitor, but I'm wondering what kind of FPS this will get on his 720p monitor. Here's what I came up with.

You really need a quad core at a minimum for BF4. The system requirements say dual core will work but it's not really gonna be usable. Bearing that in mind, I made this for you using an AMD FX 4100. The great thing about this build is that he can go to an 8350 or similar down the road if he chooses, and it's only about $25 more expensive than what you had.

For FPS he can expect 30-40 on low-medium settings.

It might just work since it's a 720p monitor, but I would argue to wait a little more and go for a quad core cpu. The 750ti would be able to run it at 1080p, specially one with an aftermarket cooler.

For just under 500, this is what I would buy.

The 270 should outperform the 750 ti,  should be able to play at high settings

Definitely get a quad core cpu!
