I am really sick of those Intel fanboys that bash, they dont believe and they think its all a scam!

They dont think like: maybe the motherboard slow downed the 3570k or the game is more friendly to FX rather than i5... They think its all fake and that we that defend this CPU that we got bribed or that we are ignorant and they think logan is bribed or a hidden AMD fanboy or something...

I could compare Intel fanboys with those politicians that say video games cause violence and primary reason of school shootings, I get a headache from those iliterate uneducated idiots. To them everything is important and even if it AMD counter part is too old or just a bit weaker they trash it.

I on youtube on recent video that LavcoPriceTech made, I debated with TheGobedan and he trashed. it was Intel Pentium G2120 and I offered a better solution as he denied it. He even said 2 core's are enough? Are you kidding me? 2 core's? Thats not enough now, its not 2010 or 2011... Its now freaking 2013 year, games will now use 4 core CPU's primarily. Also he mentioned "all" mighty i3 that costs 129$ compared to Althlon II X2 260 Regor that costs only 53$(Its a STEAL)...

He said its too old, I admit that but my subject was to have a for short time(one year tops) to save up some money for a better CPU. X2 260 Regor uses same ammount of watt as i3 and both of them are dual-core! Then he said no L3 catch, No SSE4... Its not about how good the CPU is, its about to use it for short time ultil you could buy FX 6300 or FX 8350 since there are motherboards that are AM3/AM3+(even ones that can be turned to AM3+ with simple BIOS upgrade).

I cant believe how some fanboys are stupid or too picky and act like a master race. Like nazi's!

Ok, right... I hope they get disapointed when haswell igp fails to be stronger than AMD A10 APU... Hopefully they will try the AMD. Rather than being snobs.

Whats wrong with intel anyway? lol. I'm impartial. I have a core 2 quad right now, and I love it, but I'm planning on upgrading to an FX6300. There's nothing wrong with either brand really. It's like comparing nVidia to AMD gpus. Who really cares? Use whatever you want. If people wanna use an Intel build then let them. It's their choice.

Core 2 processors were actually really good. I had a core 2 duo (cant remeber the model) but it was a 1.8GHz clock but i could OC the thing to nearly 3.4GHz. Was a beast of a chip.

dude it's not intel his issue is with, it's intesl customer base, and there display of obnoxius arigance, clearly it's not every intel customer like yourself. but it's the one's that are like it, that put's a bee in his bonnet. don't blame him tbh, i pretty much agree with him

both sides are the issue. any 1 that puts a label over perfomance is an idiot. problem is you get it everywhere. xbox v ps, pc v console, intel v amd, nvidia, amd.

the 2 sides with the biggest amount of fanbois are both the weaker perfomers because they feel they have to justify there position to any 1 who will listen.

1 thing i have noticed is that amd fanbois tend to be anti nvidia as well as intel which makes them even more militant and frankly makes me laugh.

buy the perfomance you can afford and dont worry about what the other guy has in his pants. its just internet penis envey.

The only real issue that I see with this is the spreading of false information to the consumer, epecially those who are not regularly hitting up tech websites  (which is happening on YouTUBE and less established tech websites).  AMD makes a great product worhty of the money, so it's a shame that there is so much undeserved hate towards the chips. I remember HardOCP's review when bulldozer was first released and it was mentioned that as drivers mature the chip will become more efficient and that has happened.  Unfortunately people are still living in 2011.

lol sorry mate it hasnt. the cpu you has gotten better because of arcitecture changes not the software its running on...

windows released a patch for the earlier fx cpus that improved perfomance by less than 1%.

if your gonna spout about the internet givin misinformation at least make sure the info you give is correct.

cpu's dont use drivers they use kernals and kernals unlike drivers cant be swapped out willy nilly. the amd cpu would work better if the o.s was writen with the amd arcitecture in mind but it wasnt so it struggled until the fx 8350 arrived. this wasnt anything to do with drivers or software it was a physical optomization of the cpus arcitecture.

 1 other sad thing i have noticed, is since logan benched the 8350 there has been a lot more amd fanbois on this forum. i have been lurking for a while so have seen the change... i guess because he gave it such glowing reviews they could come here and start bitching about intel, thinking logan would back em up... well from what i have seen on the tek syndicate youtube channel... they may be mistaken. i get the impression he wants to stay neutral.

Yes, you are entirely right concerning the 8150 and yes I understand that processors are not controlled by drivers and thus cannot be patched on the fly.  But alot of people still have some overlying hate over the piledriver line because of the shortcomings with bulldozer (some of the lingering short comings left over in piledriver).  But then again no one is trying to say that the AMD chip is hands down better than the Intel (or even better at all), it's just that it gets a bad wrap.  

Also I am using an intel 2600k and have no plans to switch over to AMD any time soon.

Why do you care? Reading your post it seems like you're quite the fanboy as well. The argument can be summed up quite simply, and yes i'm interpreting those LPT retards in a less retarded way. There is no competition between AMD and Intel at the lower end of the spectrum, AMD cpus are hands down superior; the only reason to choose an i3 is to offer yourself an upgrade that could dead end at an i7 3770k. Between the f8350 and the i5 3750k the back and forth doesn't need to exist, both processors are more than capable for gaming, streaming, and general use. Having more cores gives piledriver an advantage in multithread aplications and multitasking. The intel options have fewer cores but each core can do more work per cycle, and blows the AMD chip away at single threaded applications and video encoding.

If you're looking to game and exclusively game (this is for the 3570k vs 8350), the choice is not existent, if you can snag the AMD cheaper buy the AMD, the i5 is cheaper? buy the i5. Beyond gaming it's on the user to find a processor that fits the work they do. At the lower end of the spectrum it's more economical to roll amd, but buying intel offers you a path to upgrade in the future. The only thing to keep in mind before buying an AMD cpu is that you will not be able to get anything better than the 8350 (which is fine, it's solid but it will not hold up at the high/ultra-high end of the market).

It all depends on your case, like for me, i'm not planning to move on past my i7-930 for sometime, but at the same time i'm having trouble streaming and i know that if i was going to buy, i'd buy a 3770k or a 2700k, the 8350 can't compete with my needs but it does for many people.

Uninformed people will not understand this, but it's you're job as an informed consumer to inform them, and if they choose to stick to petty labels, they deserve to pay a premium (or inversely get a processor that wont meet their needs). Not everyone is open minded, and not everyone is smart, get over it and stop complaining, there are two sides to a coin and i find amd bible beaters just as annoying as intel yolo faggots. 

It all depends on your needs, your system, and honestly your budget. But one more time. IF YOU ARE GAMING (i'm on logan with this one) THE 8350 IF A BEAST OF A PROCESSOR AND WILL SERVE YOU WELL. IT CAN HANDLE ANYTHING YOU THROW AT IT, SOMETHINGS IT WONT HANDLE AS WELL AS AN INTEL CHIP BUT HONESTLY JUST BECAUSE IT DOES IT WORSE DOESNT MEAN IT DOESNT DO IT WELL.

EDIT: to correct myself on upgrade paths, it seems like the new line of amd CPUS will be on am3+ so the point still stands for the low end, but it's moot at the higher end.

Hi i've used both amd and intel machines in the past and have been with intel last couple of years but my folks machine is always an amd because its value for money and you get a lot for you money on the motherboards. I've also worked with guys from AMD recently and here in the the UK and they spoke alot of sense saying amd doesn't like to spend money on advertising and promoting itself. Prime example is beginning of last year in PC world the entire laptop and pc area had intel adverts/signs everywhere.

I am not an AMD Fanboy. Just pissed off that people dont really have a chance to buy an AMD since when they ask their friends they will most likely say Intel rather than consider an viable alternative. Another problem when that person is just joining or is transfering from console to PC.

To be fair a laptop's main selling point is the type of processor it has inside of it and I would argue until recently AMD had no real match for intel's i5-i7.

they are both good processors and they both excel for certain functions. performance is usually at the mercy of the programmer's hands anyways. like, was the program being ran also coded to be optimized using the extended instruction sets for whichever processor or were the opcodes emulated? there is always a bigger picture. they both can be reconfigured to outperform each other. the point is who cares.. people that bitch will bitch about anything.
