Just wondering what everyones view is on bandwidth caps. For example, my current network connectivity is with a Verizon 4G MiFi Jetpack and has a 10GB limit at $80 per month, and is currently my only source for Internet out where I live.
Do you think that Verizon is simply doing this so that they can throw a bunch of users on cheap equipment? Or do you think this practice is reasonable, and denying corporations their right to throttle and cap would deny them from properly managing QoS? I have my own opinions, but I would like to see how many others share my same view without corrupting the conversation by portraying my opinion first.
Verizon is always asking for feedback from their customers, and I am really thinking about doing so with a true not-so-emotional writeup. (As if they would read it at all, but might be fun).
