After my Zweihänder purchase, I've been searching bandcamp for post-metal / post-rock bands. Here is what I've recently picked up.

I know this is an old thread, but I'd be remiss in my duties if I didn't thank OP for the suggestions. Especially that Temple album. It's fucking awesome and exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for and only half realizing it.

Symphonic Metal, similar to the sound of Nightwish but not as much variety in instruments. Brilliant vocalist and some awesome guitar work going on. They made a brilliant cover of Ed Sheeran's I See Fire. Their first album is free so you've nothing to loose.

Death Metal, a lot can be said about this band but their work is all free so go check 'em out, if you like it throw them all your money!
