Backtrack/Kali or ArchTrack?

Hey Community!!!

So this is probs a very noobie question to the pros but which is better for beginners?

I plan to move into security or pentesting after watching CCNA and learning about networking.

All Ethical ofc, i dont plan to use the hacking methods for evil.

 

Anyways which would you suggest? used BT5 a little bit but i like ArchLinux :)

kali.

if you want to look something up, its going to be written for backtrack / kali.

officially bt5 no longer has support, so everything with the offensice security disctros are moving to kali.

 

now, if you want to LEARN linux set up arch from scratch. however archtrack is already set up, and will have much less out there than kali.

ah brilliant thank you! know of any sources to get me started? websites video sites etc? kinda dont wanna hack someone server while learning lol
