So after my bad run with the PowerColor I got the MSI^. Hoping this one will work I plugged it up, installed the driver and restarted. It would get the the windows loading screen then after it finished the screen went black. A few seconds later the system would restart. I even ordered a new PSU Rosewill Hive 650W..still same problem. Any idea or thoughts...maybe another bad GPU? (This will be the second in a row)

I had a similar problem with my MSI 7870. It sorted itself out after turning the whole thing off and disconnecting the power, then letting it sit for a while. It hasn't done it since, but I think my next video card will not be from MSI.
Update:
My old mobo started to act up so I ordered a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P and AMD FX-6300. I'll try the card with this system and hopefully it will work..if not I guess I got a bad card.
I have this board and love it.
Sent back for RMA...hopefully 3rd time is the charm.
Im on my 3rd R( 290x from sapphire and it still doesnt work lol
have you tried clearing CMOS?
