I might be upgrading monitors soon, and I want to put my secondary monitors in portrait. I've got a really odd set of requirements that are proving difficult to search for… suggestions appreciated : )
- 1920×1200 (or ×1080)
- ~ 20"
the size+resolution requirements are about being close to the same PPI as a 34" 3440×1440 primary monitor.
- IPS (or comparable viewing angles)
IPS is about color, but mainly about being viewable in portrait mode.
- displayport connection
displayport is about which type of connections most GPUs have three of these days.
- VESA mount (75mm or 100mm)
Being mounted.
- matte
- black (and preferably slim) bezel; preferably minimal branding and no controls on the face
- good quality, but preferably inexpensive
All this is just nice-to-haves. I'm not trying to make a zero-bezel sort of setup, not terribly picky about appearance of the case.
