There was a setting before in the preference tab where you could disable the scroll to bottom after replying to another user/thread and now it seems it’s gone.
I’ve seen other users mentioning their annoyance at this too.
Is there a way to fix this that I am missing?

There was an option to turn that off? All my life I never knew bliss, and now it’s gone…
All I know is that I missed it …
There also was an option to not group likes and it’s gone too.
Guess it’s not in the ((( VISION )))

That is how discourse operates.
I’d say it’s 1 step forward, 5th gear backwards, but mkay. 
I can’t find anything about this in discourse forums.
The option in question is the bottom one.
