Audio Interface Not Passing Through My KVM

KVM Model:

4-Computer Quad Monitor KVM Switch - USBC Version

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

10 - gigabit

Problem:

I recently purchased a Focusrite Scarlett Mono (Gen 4), for a mic interface that works great out of the box with Linux (yay class complaint).
It works as intended when plugged directly into my desktop, but if I plug it into the KVM it does not get recognised.
I tried using both the HID and the non HID usb ports.
Is there a way to have that pass through the kvm?

I want to do the same. only not on the point that i 'm not decideded what kvm i want one or two monitors.

But pasing trough my sound card is one of the main things i want to with it.

on what os are you on. trying this ?

my soundcard can be verry picky and wants to be on the same usb port where the drivers where installed. this might be a long short. but deinstall the drivers and try installing them again with the soundcard pluged in the kvm switch.

somebody deeper in the tread has it working, so it’s posible.

now its simply to find out why its not detecting. Mayebe its power. for sure with phantom. soundcards can be a bit demanding. There are active usb cables, that you can add some extra power.that might be a solution. But still that is a guess.

focuseite 2i2 works fine via usb3. gotta remember to reboot the KVM if you try a hid port first then swap to usb3. so this prolly works fine if you power cycle the KVM (unplug power and USB) and start with a USB3 port

…focuseite USB drivers historically leave a lot to be desired though

Ha, took a reboot or 2 of the kvm and my computer, but now that is passing through everything just fine.
Thanks for the help Wendell! This kvm is amazing!!
