Audio Cutting Out

I just got a new computer a couple of days ago and everything was awesome until I noticed that my audio would start cutting out. Almost like lag but it does it even when the only thing running is Foobar 2000. I am using a CM storm sirus with the 2 usb plugs. The rest of the specs are:

Cpu: AMD FX8320

Mobo: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z

Storage: Kingston SSD Now 120gb

Case: Cm Storm Trooper WIndow

PSU: Thermaltake Smart M 850W

GPU: XFX R9 280X

CPU Cooler Thermaltake NIC

I used this http://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtml to check the Latency. I reinstalled the drivers for the headet and it was fine for literally 20 minutes. I tried running with just the windows drivers that it installs on its own and it too worked for a little while but soon quit working again.

The latency checker shows up to 16000uf,

Seeing as it uses two USB plugs, have you tried moving them around between different USB ports at the back of the motherboard? It seems like it's a driver problem of the USB sound, but moving the connectors around is worth a try. Another longshot would be to look if there is any newer version of the motherboard BIOS out.

DPC latency is presumably not nearly as high when that USB sound is not installed?

I just went back to the computer that i had left with a chrome download running. So i ran the latency check again. It was green. Right before i left is when i made that post....

Also, check the cable to the headset itself if you can.
