I dont know what you intent to build but personally i would skip them and get a 6300.
Budget gaming build
Right away I will tell you the X4 750K is the better choice of those two. Next I would suggest you go with the 760K instead of the 750K because it's a bit faster, has higher clocks out of the box and is usually only about $10 more.
Also the Athlon X4 CPUs work with the newest FM2+ socket motherboards which come with a wide range of options and future-friendly features.
But before you go any further, what's your total budget and what all do you need? (OS, keyboard & mouse, monitor?) We might be able to help you with the rest of your build.
gpu: asus r7 260x 2gb
Ram: 4gb crucial bulk (will be upgrading that in the future)
psu: Thermaltake 430w munchen
case: aerocool strike-x one
harddrive: toshiba 500gb 7200rpm
monitor: philips V-line 21.5 inch
Op: win 7 home premium 64bit
i have a mouse and keyboard :)
cpu is not on there cause im not sure yet
Do you already have some of these parts, or are they just all currently on your "build list"?
Also, what's your total budget?
i would say the FX4300 is the better choice, because the 750K lacks on L3 cache.
If you could jump into the FX6300 i would recommend that, + Asus M5A97 R2.0 mobo.
FX6300 is only slightly more expensive than the FX4xxx CPUs
I like either of them, but, depending on your current budget, the AM3+ socket does have more upgradability in the future to chips with more cores and higher native clocks. Just make sure that you check out the ASRock Extreme lineup for each, as the highest number typically has more of those wonderous Digi+ VRMs than their competitors. So that's always a plus. The downside is that they're usually some of the more expensive motherboards for each socket. Aside from the minimum wattage requirements on your PSU, the motherboard is the last thing in your build that you should skimp on, because it's likely to be the last thing you upgrade, so it needs to last through whatever else you decide to put in it in the future.
A really nice starting point for AM3+:

A really nice starting point for FM2+:

The monitor and OS are for sure but the rest is my build list yes.
budget is around this price point 400-420 euros . 550-580 dollars
Asrock 990FX fatality killer is alot cheaper then the extreme 9. the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 or Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 also. if you plan to upgrade to FX 8core.
Otherwise the FX6300 with Asus M5A97 R2.0 is a decent combination.
No GPU, case or PSU?
Also, just my two cents; Those motherboards are overkill - I'm not saying to go with the cheapest board, but you can get plenty of features and upgrade-ability with much less expensive boards. 2133mhz RAM is unnecessary in a non-APU system primarily used for gaming. In this case the cost difference isn't much though.
Here's a strong performing FM2+ build for $530 USD: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3FGdW
+1 That will play almost every game on high at 1080p
Thx

If you play games like metro last light then you will see the benefits of the FX 6 core cpu´s with L3 cache. Vs the Athlons. GPU bounded games you will see les of a diffrence between the 2 cpu´s with a midrange gpu. but if you also play games, that lay on both cpu and gpu, you will see the diffrence.

Refering back to Freaksmacker´s build, that one is also very nice, it gives you an upgrade path, to a FX8 core cpu in the future.
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Freaksamcker/saved/4BOB Was thinking something along this line. Still alittle room for flexing the budget around. Will serve you well.
Very nice build here i have to say, That motherboard gives you some good upgrade path´s in the future, to a FX8 core cpu for example.
I am a firm believer in upgrade paths. Thats were the real savings are at. Ya, lol. There is not a builder out there that hasnt wished that they payed alittle extra money for a better mb so they didnt have to purchase everything again for the next build or upgrade.
I have a dim view of the athlons and fx 4 cores. There really is not a better value in cpus ( on the amd side of things ) to start with then a 6300. I personally recommend you start with it. If you plan on doing more with your system later.
