At what size monitor is 4k considered worth it for coding?

i sit three feet away and have a contacts and no scaling and i can read everything. 125% scaling does not look bad either though. Games at 1080p look pretty good

Does it have a vesa mount? What gpu are you using? I can't decide if I should get a 43'' instead.... tough decision.

No vesa mount. It has mounting holes but much larger than vesa.
GTX 950 for now hoping to get GTX 1060 for Christmas.

Okay cool. I think it's a 400x400 mount which is huge but I found an adapter on Amazon. I'm trying to decide between the KU6300 and the Wasabi Mango UHD 400? Any suggestions?

My only deal with getting Samsung is you get to deal locally and issues/ returns will probably be quicker and easier

i dont know about other operating systems, but win 10 4k scaling sucks donkey balls

thats usually why i end up leaving the desktop at 1080

then there is also many programs that dont properly display at 4k and look all jacked up

i use a program called HRC hotkey resolution changer (my hotkeys are F91080 -F104k)
