Ok, so I have AT&T U verse, unfortunately their box does not allow different a different dns than what they give you so i set up my router and set a dns for it. Now for some reason anytime I try to go to yahoo it takes like 10min (not exaggerating in the least bit). Now I reset both boxes and changed the router back to getting its dns from the modem but it is still taking forever to get onto yahoo. any thoughts?
not really im actually about to switch over to comcast so there is no point i was just wondering if anyone else had come across this problem and had a solution to it
hopefully currently att only provides "6" mbps while comcast provides "25" mpbs (notice quotations) and it should be cheaper at least for the first year and then ill probably see if i can get a better deal somewhere else or threaten to cancel and hopefully get comacast to give me a deal or whatever
