Asus Z10PE-D8WS doesn't POST

At my workplace, I am working on building a workstation using two Xenon processors ( Xenon E5-2630) and the Asus Z10PE-D8WS.

Currently, the board doesn't POST and the little display thing on the motherboard says "B1". According the Q_CODE table, it means "Runtime Set Virtual Address MAP END". Has anyone run into something similar?

At the moment, I am trying to figure out if its a faulty motherboard/processor or ram.

So far I have tried some basic tests:

  1. Tested with single cpu on slot1 (cpu1) with memory installed on slot A
  2. The system gives a continuous beep with no memory installed.
  3. Swapped graphic cards
  4. Tried different memory sticks to rule out a faulty one

Any ideas?

[Update]

After spending sometime with the manual, I decided to flash the new bios using the asus usb flashback thing ( its quite neat). But the problem still persists.

All of asus's high end motherboards will flat out not work if it senses a problem.

As much as they kind of suck, I would call up asus tech support. If you have tried the single stick of memory trick with no luck, then you are probably looking at an RMA.
