Hello, I have had this sound card (Asus Xonar DG) for about 6 months and have recently gotten speakers (I was using headphones). When I plug the speakers into the rear jacks (for 5.1 surround) I get no audio at all. I have reinstalled the drivers, changed the default audio playback devices, tried another Xonar card (borrowed from friend) and neither one have worked. I made sure to uninstall the realtek drivers, but I still have no rear output sound. Does anyone have any suggestions?
When you go to playback devices is it listed and checked? On your xonar dg audio center under the bottom Main tab what is listed in the Analog Out box?
I am by no means an audio expert but i have one of these cards so maybe i can help you figure it out.
Oh my god thank you so much, I just thought it was for surround! Thanks all I had to do was change it to 5.1 speakers!
