Asus WRX90E-SAGE SE dont start, no Screen, nothing happens

Hello Dudes and Dudettes,

I’m reaching out in hopes that someone can help me figure out what I’m missing.
The System doesnt boot in POST or BIOS, it does nothing.
I get these error:

0d with Yellow Q-Led

My setup is as follows:

Motherboard: ASUS WRX90E-Sage-SE
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X
RAM: 4x32 Kingston Fury 5600MT (KF556R28RBE2K4-128)
Cooler: Corsair iCUE H170i Elite Cappelix XT
PSU: Corsair HX100i
SSD: Corsair MP600 ELITE 2 TB

Monitor Connected with VGA.

I dont have any Clue, why i didnt get a picture.

According to the user manual, it’s a code, which is reserved for future versions: Reserved for future AMI SEC error codes

I suggest to open a ticket with ASUS. Maybe they can tell what the issue may be. It is also interesting, that your CPU is not listed in the “supported CPUs” page.

Do you have all the power connectors on the board hooked up? I know the manual says some of them are optional but they really aren’t in my experience.

Check your CPU Threadripper 7960X - this board supports only AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7965WX as a 24 Core CPU!!
If you’ve got an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7965WX proceed with

Check your RAM - seems it’s not recognized

Check RAM Slots

d0 is usually an error with the memory on these Asus boards.

Had a similar error a few weeks ago and after some fiddling I saw, that one memory bank was not locked very well. I took out the RAM and by inserting it again I realized that some force is required to get them into place.

After that some waiting for the first POST and everything was fine.

(I don’t know the error code any more, but I am almost certain that I did not cross the yellow LED)
