Hi,
I am in the process of testing my new build for stability and once in a while the boot process freezes with the motherboard reporting a 0d code. The board does have the latest bios, and so far hitting the reset button will get past this 0d code however it is still quite annoying to have to deal with it. Has anyone else come across this issue?
Secondly, for stability testing I am using OCCT, however running hwinfo64 at the same time causes the system to reboot. A couple of times a restart was triggered even just by opening OCCT, other times CPU+RAM OCCT test will run for 20-30 seconds before a reboot is triggered. If I just run OCCT without hwinfo open in the background everything works fine and there were no errors reported after an hour of run.
- I ran Cinebench R23 and R24 (multi core) for 30 minutes along with hwinfo64, and there were no reboots.
- Blender and hwinfo64 did not cause a reboot either.
Edit: Yet another issue I have come across is I changed the OC to Expo II, however I selected Cancel when the message about warranty pops up, and the only way to get the system to boot afterwards was by clearing the CMOS. Without this the board get stuck with a 00 code and the red CPU led.
I am either very unlucky with this board, or it’s plagued with issues being so new.
